By jove it has been a difficult year. I remember the year 1919 as being equally difficult after 4 years of damaging war in Europe we had to face the Pandemic that was the Spanish Flu. Sheffield bore its brunt of the illness after so many had been lost previously. As a company we struggled through the time trying to give some light to people with our finest comestibles. Over 100 years on and we are able to do the same again.
I am very proud of my staff who have worked hard to keep the orders fulfilled and to keep people stocked with the comfort of a sweet gift. They have coped admirably with all that has been thrown their way and kept themselves and their colleges safe and well for which I am most humbly thankful.
I am looking forward to 2021 and some new products that will be being launched by my most splendid team of helpers.
I would like to thank you all for your custom this year which has been so hard. I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a much happier and healthier New Year 2021.
